John McClane is a police officer who must protect hostages and his wife from terrorist. Bruce Willis’s first action movie and the best of the series. It’s exciting, funny, and full of action packed scenes. John is a great relatable character and he never gives up, even if the situation is impossible to get out of. He’s also very funny with one liners or his sarcastic comments. Alan Rickman (who plays the villain) is just as great. In my opinion, it’s the best action and Christmas film of all time. Some of the sequels were good and others bad but none could top the first. Verdict: 8.9
